Happy Halloween

On Saturday, Oct 16, we had our annual Halloween Party. This year we held it at Jamie's house. She has the perfect spot for it. We all enjoyed ourselves eating lots of chili and way too many ghoulie goodies. Jamie had everyone break into groups and went on a Scavanger Hunt. Each group got a penny and they had to go to different homes and ask them if they could give them something to better up the penny. One group came home with a lamp, another group came home with $2.00 and 1/2 of a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi, and the other group came home with a white pumpkin. It was a fun evening.

Of course the I have shown the food first because it is so fun to see what everyone brings.

Family Pictures

I am finally getting these pictures blogged. In August our whole family was together. The first time in about 4 years and who knows when we will all be together again. It was fun to get together and do the pictures. Gary and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Gary and I went for a ride up Mapleton Canyon and saw some beautiful sights. The trees were just turning and so everything was in vibrant color. We have such a beautiful world and here is a part of it. We also found a couple of neat places to take a couple of pictures, so we took some of me and Gary.

On our way home we were greeted by this sunset

Since July we have had the blessing of having Brandt and Amy and their family live with us. There have been a few challenges, but all in all it has been great to have them with us, especially since they had been gone for so long. One of the things that we have found is that when Daniel is tired he will stop what he is doing and just go to sleep. These two pictures show a little bit of what he does. He fell alseep at the top of the stairs. Glad he didn't relax too much and fall down them.
