Swimming in the reservoir

Gary wasn't able to go to the reunion this year because of his herniated disc so I went up with Lorrie and her family and stayed with them. We had decided to stay up there until Wednesday. Scott had to go home on Monday so he could go to work while Lorrie, the kids, and I stayed and played. Jane and Phil stayed until Tues. so we had a good time. Monday after everyone left we all went down to the reservoir to play. Jane had a little rubber canoe that she let the kids take out. They had a good time rowing it around. But the thing the kids had the most fun doing was trying to catch the minnows. Lorrie went out in a little raft and just about froze. The water was quite cold. What did I do--I just sat on the chair and took some pictures.

It was really fun to stay up and enjoy Joe's Valley. It was so beautiful and so very peaceful in the nighttime. We didn't want to come home and have to go back to real life. Heavenly Father sure has made a beautiful world for us to enjoy and sometimes we forget how wonderful it is until we take the opportunity to go out in it.

Here are pictures that were taken at our Adamson family reunion. It was held August 1st through August 4th up at Joe's Valley. I believe that all who attended had a really good time. The weather was really good, kind of overcast, most of the time, and that means it was not too hot and almost perfect. I know I speak for all when I say thanks to Karen and Bill for their hard work in making sure this event happened and they made sure that the food was brought, as you can tell by the pictures that we all enjoyed very much. And thanks to all who helped reserve our spots and especially for those who came and helped make this a great reunion.

Here are Lyn and Beth's children with some spouses
