A Trip Down Memory Lane and a Birthday Wish to Tonia

It was 28 years ago that we had a beautiful little brown eyed, bald baby come into our lives to bless us and give us much joy. She weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She had 3 older sisters and one older brother who were very excited to have her come home so they could love her and play with her. She got stuck with the name of Tonia Rae and has been known mostly as Toni. Toni was always a happy baby and laughed and teased right along with the rest of us. She was the one who always made sure that we had family home evening and kept us all on our toes. She has always been one who knew the gospel was true and wanted to live by it's principles. Toni has been such a blessing in our lives. When she went on her mission, unbeknowst to her she would meet a man who would become the love of her life, Andre. Together they have become the parents of two beautiful little girls and a sweet little son that we will all get to know in another life. Toni is a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. We love her very much and are very proud of her and who she is! Happy Birthday to you Tonia!

Holiday Memories

This was such a wonderful holiday season but it has just gone as fast as it came. We've had lots of snow and done the shoveling thing. Toni and Andre and the girls came from their nice warm place in Texas to join us here in Utah for Christmas and it was so nice to have them here for the week that they stayed with us. I know they were not excited about all the snow and the cold temperatures that we had but hopefully they had a good time even with the cold. On Christmas Eve, Gary, Shane and I went to the Misdoms for their annual Christmas Eve dinner. We ate a wonderful dinner and visited and had a good time with them. Kaci and Matt even opened up a couple of their presents. Christmas morning Gary and I got up, went to the Dibbles and watched them open their presents and then Scott made us all yummy omelets. (mmmm-mmmm good). We played a couple of games with them and then went home. Later on that afternoon we went to Jon and Ginger's house for another really yummy meal and some game playing and video watching. It was fun to spend time with all of the kids that were here. We were sorry that Brandt and Amy weren't here with us, but we know they are enjoying the Hawaiin weather a whole lot more than the snow. And we also missed Jamie and Eric who had gone to Montana to have Christmas with Eric's family but we will be invading their home on New Year's Eve for our annual New Year's Eve party. The pictures below are some of the pictures taken during this Christmas holiday.

Bella loved the snowman and so we brought him in and she made sure we always turned the light on in him

This is the quilt that the kids went in on for me and Gary. Lorrie pieced the quilt together, Ginger took the pictures of the family members and Jamie had it quilted. It was quite a big project and it is a beautiful quilt. Thank you all very much. We love it!

I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and all that he has done for us. I love him very much and consider him my best friend. All that I have and all that I ever will have comes from Him. I am grateful that I have such a wonderful family that I can spend these special times with. You all mean so much to me and make my life much more bearable. Thank you all for all that you do to make this family special.
